Our Story

Virginia attended North Carolina State University (Go Pack!) and studied Animal Science, aspiring to become a veterinarian. Long story short, she changed her career path to graduate from NCSU in 2015 with a degree in Art Studies(Concentration in visual arts) and a minor in Business Administration. She found her passion for animals through Willa & Delores.

Virginia's inspiration for Willa & Delores Jewelry came from a love of creativity and working with her hands. While studying abroad for a semester in Barcelona, Spain, she developed her love for color and structure through Antoni Gaudi's famous architectural work throughout the city. Some of her biggest inspirations came from Park Güell and Casa Batlló, both two of Gaudi's most famous architectural structures within the city. 

Virginia’s brand: Willa & Delores Jewelry is hand crafted with both a vibrant and classic flare. Her love of “big” statement pieces can be seen through her two “big” Newfoundland dogs, Willa, Delores & Florence!
When Virginia is not making jewelry in her home, she can be found playing with Willa, Delores & Florence or spending time with friends and family members.
ALL Willa & Delores necklaces, bracelets, hats, hair barrettes, and earrings are 100% handmade in North Carolina.
